Rosso “1910”

Il Rosso 1910 è un incredibile blend di uve Montepulciano e Merlot, due vitigni tanto cari a Vincenzo, capostipite della famiglia De Cerchio, che iniziò ad impiantare le prime viti proprio nel lontano 1910. Un vino dall’aspetto chiaro e deciso, ma dalla sorprendente profondità, che tanto ricorda lo stesso Vincenzo.

Il 1910 alla vista si presenta con un rosso rubino dai riflessi brillanti violacei. Al naso rileva intense note di frutti di bosco, in particolare lampone e ribes rossi, con accenni floreali di rosa canina.

In bocca è morbido e abbastanza tannico, con una perfetta corrispondenza gusto olfattiva con un finale leggermente speziato che ricordano la cannella.

Grazie alla sua versatilità il 1910 si accompagna con salumi, formaggi freschi, ideale abbinamento per aperitivi.

The Rosso 1910 is an incredible blend of Montepulciano and Merlot grapes, two varieties that were dear to Vincenzo, the patriarch of the De Cerchio family, who began planting the first vines back in 1910. This wine has a clear and bold appearance, yet surprising depth, much like Vincenzo himself.

In appearance  the 1910 reveals a ruby red color with vibrant violet reflections. On the nose, it offers intense notes of wild berries, particularly raspberry and red currant, with floral hints of rosehip. On the palate, it is soft and moderately tannic, with perfect flavor-olfactory harmony and a slightly spicy finish reminiscent of cinnamon.

Thanks to its versatility 1910 pairs well with cured meats and fresh cheeses, making it an ideal choice for aperitifs.
